Why Engineered House Slabs? In the Central Texas area, we have expansive clay soils known for swelling in wet conditions and shrinking in dry conditions. We install a floating foundation with a quality building pad underneath the foundation. Each area and foundation are different, therefore we will consult with the engineer on each job that we do. The engineer will custom design your foundation and inspect it prior to the concrete pour. Your foundation is one of the most important parts of your home, therefore we will not leave any room for error.
